Part 5Trespassing


Lick…Lick…Lick…a warm, soft tongue was carefully licking Sonic's wounds…Lick…Lick…Lick…Sonic grunted in pain as the warm tongue kept pressing against his wounds, causing it to sting some…Lick…Lick…Lick…Sonic finally opened his eyes, looked behind him and saw that it was Shadow that was licking his wounds.

Sonic continued to look at Shadow-he suspected that he was a jaguar. His wolf pack told him how vicious, cunning, greedy and stealthy jaguars were…he heard that jaguar loves to play a game of hide and seek (or more like hide and die) and pounce on their prey-but what confused Sonic the most was on how he was still alive. Were the jaguars planning to do something worse to him?

Sonic staggered a bit as he got up onto his fours when the rest of the jaguar group surrounded and hissed at him as they were eager to pounce. Sonic whimpered as his legs gave and fell back onto the ground-he was too weak and injured to fight, making him an easy target for the jaguars. The jaguars hissed more as they hunched their shoulders and were about to pounce when Shadow stood over Sonic.

The jaguars angrily hissed at Shadow, wondering why he was protecting a wolf! Shadow hissed back at them, saying that something about Sonic was making his mind boggle and that attacking a vulnerable opponent isn't right. The jaguars hissed in frustration and left Shadow to make his foolish decision; however, Shadow believed he made the right decision…and so, he went back to Sonic and continued to lick his wounds.

Inside the playroom of Vanilla's house, Dash and Dusk were playing 'Sonic Adventure Battle 2'. They were both grind racing each other to the finish line-Dusk was Shadow and Dash was Sonic.

"Dude, I'm totally beating you!" Dash said. "Nuh uh! I'm gonna win!" Dusk said, "Besides, daddy is the best!" "True but without that Chaos Emerald he's nothing," Dash said, "Mommy is the fastest and the best there is!" "Whatever…" Dusk said, "At least they're better than Egghead." "Dude, every time you play him on this game you keep on killing him." Dash said. "That's because he sucks." Duck said.

Just as they were about to reach the finish line, Dash shut off the game and sat near the windowsill looking both sad and worried. Dusk noticed something was wrong with his brother when he saw the sad look on his face; so he went up to the windowsill as well and sat next to him while hugging him.

"What's wrong brother?" Dusk asked. "I miss mommy and daddy," Dash said, "They have been gone for a while now-I want them back home." "Me too," Dusk said, "But they will be back soon…we need to be patient." "Okay brother." Dash smiled. "Good, now lets play some more video games!" Dusk said happily.

Within the jaguar territory, yipping and purring about, Sonic and Shadow were happily nibbling each other's ears and playfully wrestling about as well as showing some affection. The jaguars hopelessly watched the love fanatic Shadow nuzzled under Sonic's chin while the blue blur licked his cheek.

All the jaguars knew what was happening between them-they were falling in love (again)…and just like all lovers, Shadow pulled Sonic into the deepest and darkest part of the den as they showed a lot more love towards each other-and that next morning, Sonic was once again…pregnant.
