Strengths :
Double Speeds
What is very special about Thunder is that he was born with two speeds, fast like his father (Sonic) and slow like his mom (Amy)--which means he can switch speeds if he wants to, though there is a downside to having two different speeds. If he uses too much of his fast speed, he begins to slow down and gets exhausted; so in a way, having both speeds is an advantage and disadvantage.

Able to use or obtain strange powers
Even though Thunder can go into super, hyper and dark for like his father the only strange power that he uses is from the source of a dark ancient power ring that Eggman Nega has discovered years ago. With the power of this dark ring, he goes into a mutated for that has amazing strength but wild behavior and limited control.

Leadership Qualities
To Thunder, without a leader to guide or show the way, tams would be lost and have no way of planning things out. During battles, missions and other things, Thunder always comes out to help give order—to him, he must protect his friends and family at all costs.

Weaknesses :
Impatient
Just like his father, when it comes to waiting for someone to catch up, or waiting for the plans to make into action, Thunder rather do it his own way than just sit around and do nothing.

Destructive
If one of Thunder’s siblings, friends or family gets into serious trouble that could lead them to injury or worse, his rage builds up until he turns into his dark form—destroying anything in his path until that threat is gone.

Heavily Dependant on Resting
In order to keep that super sonic speed that he obtained from his father, Thunder has to rest when his body is overstressed or his speed energy is being used too much. And even though he is fast at running, resting is the only thing that takes up most of his time—but it is essentially needed because if he uses too much of his speed, it will result into either collapsing and exhaustion or going into a coma.

Even thought Sonic and Sally did not set it off that much (besides the point of comics), Thunder and Sarah have such a strong connection and bond that it could never be broken. Sarah would warn Thunder when he his over using his speed or even gives him easy directions to accomplish a mission. Together they are a much more cooperating and love bonding couple than what their parents were. Thunder too would protect Sarah at any costs, even if it means risking his life in order to do so.

Though the only hard thing is that ever since Sonic and Sally broke up, they been to the point where they refused to let their kids see each other—but despite whatever happened in their parents past, Thunder and Sarah will do absolutely everything to be within each others hearts and arms once again; it is like a strong love that will never dissolve.

(Close Friendship) Thunder and Chris Prower
Thunder and Chris have been together since the beginning of time—Thunder relies on Chris’ intelligence and excellent mechanical skills to help him through tough situations. Even though Chris talks by sign language his movements, Thunder—despite his lack of understanding the language—still gets a sense and understanding of what Chris wants him to do; whether it is steps to a process, warning him about danger and many other things. Also, strange as this may sound, Thunder helped Chris out when a couple of Mobian bullies were picking on him—from that day, they became close friends ever since (just like how Sonic and Tails became friends—strange huh?)

Nothing is a better bond than a sister and brotherly bond, especially since they are twins. Yes you heard right—Thunder and Lightning are twins; the only difference between them is that Lightning was born a few second earlier than Thunder, which makes Thunder the 2nd youngest. Anyways, despite the arguments and fights they would get into at certain times, they would always look out for each other and help each other because the bond they have is like a sense that alerts them what the other is doing.

(Arch-Enemy) Eggman Nega
Thunder has hate his guts ever since Eggman Nega came over to Mobotropolis—why you ask? Well, first Eggman Nega turned Thunder’s home into machinery and metal, second Nega turned Thunder and his friends’ parents into robots and finally, he is just plain cruel. Thunder knew someday that he would soon step up to be the new hero for the future generation—and he will stop at nothing until Eggman Nega is finally down and out.

(Main Rival) Dusk Gerald Hedgehog
Thunder and Dusk are always try to beat each other in battle, taunts, and leadership, but the most they fight about is to see who is the fastest (just like how Sonic and Shadow fight huh?).

(Unexpected Best Friends) Thunder and Sam Robotnik
Now we seen Sonic been friends with every type, but with Thunder, he is best friends with his father’s enemy’s son, Sam Robotnik. Thunder first met Sam when he tried to switch the Roboticization process into De-Roboticization—at first, Thunder thought Sam was here to stop him, but he was shocked to see that he was actually trying to help him. I bet you guys think it is some trick…well; it’s not a trick. Sam hated cruelty and other awful things—he wanted to help save Mobius…he wanted to be a hero not a villain. And from then on, Thunder and Sam became the best of friends. However, only one person doesn’t know about him being friends with the enemy’s son…and that is Thunder’s father, Sonic—and he fears that his dad might flip if he found out.

History:
At the age of two, Thunder learned how to speed around the house faster than Sonic did at his age. However, his parents knew something wasn’t right about their son—they knew for some weird reason he seemed to get a bit tired after running and that his speed seemed to be slowing down. Soon after, sonic and Amy took Thunder to the doctors, hoping they would get some good result—unfortunately, it was only bad news. The doctor said to them that the reason Thunder was slowing down because he was losing his speed due to the fact that their son was born with the speeds of fast and slow. Sonic and Amy was worried whether that might affect their son’s emotion, but later on they found out that Thunder would never think of giving up because he lost his speed, Thunder believes that being a hero is one that protects and help those that are hurt and in danger—in other words, losing speed is nothing compared to saving lives.

Phenomenal Speed and Hammer Summoner
Just like her twin brother (Thunder) and her father (Sonic), she has amazing super speed, but another special thing about her is that she is also able to summon Piko Piko Hammers like her mother (Amy). Basically, she can run and smack some sense into peoples heads if she felt like it.

Weaknesses :
Uncontrollable Temper
When her siblings, families or closest friends gets hurt, she becomes upset and let her rage form so much that she loses control and wants to completely destroy that threat. The problem is that when she in her uncontrollable rage mode, she can not only hurt the enemies, but can hurt her friends as well.

Likes:
To prove Thunder wrong, but she also likes hanging out with her friends in general, she likes Bolt (A LOT), her hammer, giving good advice, helping others.
