SC's Adventure Chapter 5

Chapter Five


At the Mobian Hospital, Scourge, Sonic, Amy, Shadow, Mephiles and Kim were all in the waiting room, nervously waiting for the results about SC-ever since she took the bullet that Rob fired, Scourge has been feeling guiltier by each second.

"Scourge, stop pacing around before you make a hole in the floor." Sonic said. "I-I can't help it!" Scourge exclaimed, "I should have taken the bullet! Not her!" "Scourge, it's not your fault," Amy said, "Please calm down." "YOU!" a male hedgehog shouted as he grabbed Scourge's chest and shook him. "AH! H-help! Me! Getting…dizzy!" Scourge said dizzily. "Honey stop!" a female cat said.

The one that was holding Scourge by his chest was a male strawberry red furred hedgehog with green eyes…and the one yelling for her husband was a blonde cat with blue eyes-they are both SC's parents.

"Fine." The SC's dad said as he dropped Scourge. "Ow…thanks." Scourge said. "Sorry about that," SC's mom said, "We are SC's parents and we heard about what happened. Is she okay?" "We don't know for sure." Sonic answered.

As the medical sign light turned off, the doctor opened the double doors and motioned the other to follow him-Sonic, Scourge, Amy, Mephiles, Shadow, SC's mom and dad all got up and followed the doctor up until they stopped in front of a large glass window. Inside the room, the Mobians saw SC-that was lying on the bed-had oxygen mask over its muzzle, bandages wrapped around the wounds on his arms, legs and waist, and had a sticky IV pad on his wrist and chest.

"Th-This is all my fault." Scourge sighed as he carefully sat next to SC. "No it's not Scourge," Kim said, "Kim risked her life to save a person in trouble-you know that you would have done the same thing. So it's never your fault." Scourge sighed, "But…I just…I don't know." "Sc…ourge?" SC said softly as she opened her eyes.  "Sweetie! Are you okay?!" SC's mom asked worriedly. "I-I'm fine…just tired and sore." SC said tiredly. "I-I'm so glad you are okay," Scourge said as he hugged her with tears in his eyes, "I-I'm sorry for putting you through all this." "No…don't be sorry," Sc smiled, "I had the best time of my life-I couldn't have dreamed it any better."

Scourge nuzzled close to SC-making sure that she was okay and kept safe from any harm and as for Shadow and Mephiles, they decided to cancel off their game on who can get SC. Why did they do that? Well, they both knew that Scourge was the one that rightfully belonged to SC…and they believed SC knew that as well.

"Hey SC," Scourge said, "As soon as you get better and get out of this hospital, I'm going to take you to someplace special okay?" "I would love that Scourge." SC smiled.
