After the crazy babysitting event yesterday, Shadow toddled his way into the Guest Room while rubbing his sore and diapered rear…the small black blur never felt this stinging pain before—but it didn’t mean he feared spankings. Amy, on the other hand, was sniffling a bit from her experience of her first spanking.

“All you fault!” Amy said. “Nuh-uh!” Shadow retorted. “Yesh you stinky head!” Amy shouted. “Shh…Sonic sleepy time.” Tails whispered. “Me no care!” Shadow yelled. “You should!” Amy shouted.

As Amy and Shadow’s loud ranting and arguing continued, a small whimper escaped from Sonic’s mouth. Tails’ eyes widen in fright as he tried to call Sonic down. Unfortunately, that small whimper turned into loud crying—Wave came rushing in and cradled Sonic in her arms.

“Shh…it’s okay Sonic,” Wave said, rocking Sonic in her arms, “Quiet down you two.” “Sorrwe.” Amy said softly. “Me no care!” Shadow shouted. “Shadow, lower your voice or you will be punished again.” Wave said. “No big meanie!” Shadow shouted. “Shadow, I’m warning you to stop.” Wave said.
Shadow was sick and tired of the grown-ups bossing him around…Shadow became so angry that he took a toy block and threw it at a vase—shattering it.

“Shadow, calm down this instant!” Wave shouted. “NO!” Shadow yelled.

Shadow kept throwing toys everywhere—his tantrum was getting worse by the minute. Soon Shadow got his hands on a teddy-mouse and pulled on its arms and legs until—RIIIIIIP! Sonic immediately stopped crying, opened his eyes and looked at Shadow to see that the arms and legs were ripped off. Sonic instantly started to cry his eyes out, seeing that his precious doll was broken.

“What’s going on in here?’” Knuckles asked. “Teddy bwoken!” Sonic cried. “Sonic, calm down,” Wave said, “Everything will be okay.” “Shadow! That was a very mean thing to do.” Cream said. “Me no care!” Shadow shouted. “Me down!” Sonic sobbed.

As Wave placed Sonic on the ground, Sonic walked up to Shadow and tried to get his teddy-mouse when Shadow pushed him down.

“Gimmie Teddy!” Sonic demanded. “No…mine!” Shadow shouted, looking away from Sonic. “Me hate you!” Sonic cried as he zipped out of the room. “Sonic!” Amy shouted as she and Tails ran after him. “Shadow! Now you are going to get a punishment of a lifetime!” Wave shouted, “Shadow?”

Shadow lowered his ears in sadness as he stared at the floor…he was just teasing with Sonic—he never intended for Sonic to hate him. The small black blur’s anger was replaced with sadness, fear and shock…shock and sad to hear Sonic say “Me hate you”…afraid that Sonic and the other would never EVER want to be with him anymore…afraid to be left all alone.

“Shadow, stay in this room until I say you can come out.” Wave said. “’kay.” Shadow said quietly.

Shadow felt like he deserved every punishment he was getting…he felt sad for breaking Sonic’s good-willed heart…he had to make it up to Sonic.

“Wave.” Shadow said softly. “What is it now?” Wave asked. “Me need help.” Shadow said, handing Wave the armless and legless teddy-mouse.

A couple of hours later, Sonic walked back into the Guest Room after crying form that traumatizing moment. Shadow broke his precious teddy-mouse—he would never EVER forgive him. Sonic hoped to never see Shadow again, but he thought too soon.

“S-Sonic,” Shadow said softly, “I…” “Go away.” Sonic said coldly. “Me sorrwe.” Shadow said softly. “Go away dummy head!” Sonic shouted angrily.
Shadow flinched at Sonic’s words, but he knew he deserved it—he knew Sonic would be very angry with him…he even knew Sonic might not forgive him, but he had to try.

“S-Sonic,” Shadow said nervously, “I…” “Leave him awone!” Amy shouted as she threw a small pillow at Shadow’s head. “Ow!” Shadow said as tears streamed down his face. “Meanie!” Amy shouted. “S-Sonic,” Shadow sniffled, “H-Here.”

Wondering what stupid prank or mean thing Shadow was going to do, Sonic turned around to see Shadow handing him a tiger doll. Sonic’s eyes widen in shock to see Shadow was giving him his favorite doll.

“Marwia gave it to me,” Shadow said, “You have it.” “Sh-Shadow.” Sonic stuttered. “Me bwoke your doll,” Shadow said, “You have mine.” “Thankies!” Sonic said happily as tears of joy streamed down his face. “Okay Shadow, I—” Wave saw Sonic’s tears, “Shadow, what did you do?” “Shadow gave me tiger.” Sonic said happily. “Shadow you gave him your favorite doll?” Wave asked. “Yesh,” Shadow replied, “Me want Sonic happy.” “Speaking of Sonic being happy,” Wave said, “Sonic, look what I have.” “Teddy!” Sonic said happily as he hugged his teddy-mouse. “Shadow asked me to fix it,” Wave said, “Right Shadow?” “Yesh.” Shadow sighed sadly. “Shadow…me no hate you no more,” Sonic said lowering his ears, “Sorrwe. Fwiends?” “F-Fwiends?” Shadow asked as he wiped his tears. “Yeah, let’s play!” Sonic said as he grabbed Shadow’s hand, “You play with my doll.” “Th-Thankies.” Shadow said happily as tears of joy streamed down his face. “Shadow used to think Sonic was an annoyance and a nuisance,” Knuckles said, “Now that they are babies, they are friends. Strange isn’t it?” “Being young opens more of your true feelings.” Wave said.
